The Brooks Cradle Ultra Trail, takes place in the majestic greater Cradle Nature Reserve on a privately owned UNESCO World Heritage site. The reserve has, once again, been made available to runners specifically for this event.
​Choose from five epic fast runnable routes – 6KM, 10KM, 15KM, 25KM or 50KM. The trails cut through open grasslands, twist through wooded valleys, and climb rugged hills. Expect steep climbs, fast descents, flat ridges, and jeep tracks that keep you moving. It’s tough, it’s rewarding, and it’s packed with moments that make you want to keep running. The 2026 route will take you clockwise, giving even familiar sections a new edge.​​​

Get your morning fix from Crave Run and pop over to Brooks and check out their awesome trail shoes. Check out the great gear from Decathlon. Don't vanish after the race! And compare your Strava segments over a cold beer or gin in the Beer Garden. Or head to the pool and cool off those legs. Feeling a little stiff? Give your legs the love they need with a massage at the Recharge Sports Therapy zone or take the plunge into one of our Ice Baths. Grab some of the best food around from the Cradle Boutique Hotel chefs. Or simply hang about and learn more about this UNESCO World Heritage site. Lemon and Lime will be playing Live music and entertaining you through the day.

The Brooks Cradle Ultra-Trail shirts design was inspired by captivating wildlife, rich history and natural wonders encountered at the Cradle Nature Reserve. These moisture management shirts can be purchased with your entry. The 25KM and 50KM runners will be a shirt as part of their entry. General Cradle Ultra shirts can be purchased for R350 each.

WannaDo Club members qualify for a refund anytime.
Participants are eligible for a refund up to 100% if cancellation occurs at least 10 days before the race. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 9 days of the race. Transfers between participants are allowed for the same race. No carry overs are allowed.*Refunds will be paid less the Entry Tickets transaction fees (5%) plus (R3) per entry*​
